Bonzai is extremely proud to have not one but two founders within our organization awarded the prestigious MVP status. Most recently Michal Pisarek became a Microsoft MVP for the 5th time, for his expertise in Microsoft SharePoint Sever, while Shereen Qumsieh became a two time MVP for her deep knowledge in SharePoint Development.
The SharePoint MVP award is given to individuals based on their specific abilities in SharePoint. There are only 240 SharePoint MVPs around the world, recognizing exceptional technical community leaders who actively share their best-in-class, real world expertise with others.
Becoming an MVP is no small feat. With over 100 million social and technical community members worldwide, these leaders help make the most of the SharePoint technology. MVPs are independent of Microsoft, with separate opinions and perspectives that actively represent the views of community members with whom they engage every day. Potential MVPs are nominated by other technical community members, current and former MVPs and Microsoft personnel who have noted their community leadership.
The MVP award provides Microsoft with a way to say "thank you" to leaders who help their customers do great things with the evolving technology. It brings a voice to the community and a roadmap to the future.
We are very proud to shout out a big congratulations to Michal and Shereen. It takes the best and the brightest to build Bonzai Intranet for SharePoint, and provide valuable support to the SharePoint community.
